Elegant but full bodied this whisky has spent ten years maturing in American white oak ex-bourbon casks before being extra-matured for a further two years in Oloroso Sherry casks from Jerez in Spain.
Ultimate Beverage Challenge 93 points - Briny and toasty on the nose with suggestions of maple, cinnamon and fresh fig shining through. Decidedly semisweet with salted caramel, baked pear and campfire smoke coalescing into a classic, sherry-like finish. Fantastic.
